Elizabeth Gilbert: A new way to think about creativity

As artists, we constantly struggle with the tension between creating and the fear of the reaction we will receive about what we've created. Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of Eat, Pray, Love,  gives a wonderful talk about overcoming the "inherent emotional risks of creativity"

I think my favorite part is when she simply says, "show up and do your job" and if/when you fall into a pit of despair, keep on doing it anyway.

Have a good weekend!
